I think I need more focus at the moment. I feel like when I reflect on the day, my constant answer is ‘fine’. Everything is fine at the moment, but I’m certainly not excelling in life! I feel like a am flotation through life. I am not motivated with health and struggling with the time it is taking to get our house ready to sell and to move. I know this will pass but wonder is there a way to feel this way less often?

‘Fine’ tends to make us feel the same as ‘stuck’ – unfulfilled.
What I mean by this is that when we feel stuck or trapped in a job, body, life – it makes sense that we feel unfulfilled.
We think that we want to feel ‘comfortable’- and comfortable is also know as ‘fine’, ‘safe’ and ‘Ok’. These are not where we want to be – they make us feel unfulfilled too – because as human beings we are designed to grow – we are meant to have some momentum in our life.
Feeling like you are floating through the days tells me there is no intention or structure to your days. I know this – and have experienced this over the last week too – its not nice, we think we should enjoy some ‘nothing’ time but we dont. Its not that every day needs to be a grind or hard work, but every day should have some intention to it.
You can be intentional about having a relaxing day cooking, watching some tv and reading. You can be intentional about work. When you decide ahead of time what you are going to do – you dont feel guilty about it and you feel momentum in it.
So today, list 3 things tomorrow you want to creat (not do).
What are 3 results you will achieve?
Wake up tomorrow and do them.
That is how you create momentum.
Because without a plan you wake up and do jobs and get to the end feeling like you did some stuff but got nowhere, it feels fine, but flat.
It doesn’t have to be build an extension.
But pick at tap fitting.
Creat a spreadsheet of what needs to be done with the house pre sale.
Plan every day of Feb with work, kids, health and personal.
schedule time for reading or a bath
just be intentional
