I find myself often worrying about things. I spend the weekend worrying about work, the work week worrying about what i need to do at home on the weekend, i wake up often worrying about how I will get through everything that day. It’s like this low level anxiety and it is draining and makes me easily distracted and uneasy. What is this? Is it lack of planning? I am good with organisation and planning yet the worry persists…

The worry persists because you are living in theb future.
Shame lives in the past.
Worry and fear in the future.
If you are just here right now, there is no shame or worry or fear.
Having a plan is important. But your work is in your thinking my friend.
How about this.
Instead of ‘how will I get it all done today’
Try:
‘I have a plan. It’s as good as done.’
‘Everything is as it should be.’
‘I have all the time there is.’
‘I can only do one thing at a time.’
‘I am here now.’
‘What would I do right now if I wasn’t worrying?’
Try on what works for you and chose to think in a way that serves you.
You can control your thinking, it does not have to control you.
