You mentioned in the call the importance of breathing deeply. It made me realised I have never actually done this. Sure in a yoga class for 40 min. But never in my actual every day life. How do I remind myself to do this. I feel so much better when I get out of that shallow breath space where everything feels urgent (obviously!) but i also think this will help me with my weight loss goals. Do you agree?
I have been thinking about this a lot lately.
NOONE teaches us how to breathe properly.
It’s like managing our minds.
Everyone is so interested in educating our intellect, no one is teaching us how to manage our wellbeing.
YES I agree breathing properly will help you loose weight.
It lowers your stress hormones, it calms your nervous system, it helps you get into the present here and now, it allows you to feel your feelings, it allows you space between trigger and response, it allows you to release and reset.
IT IS A SECRET WEAPON.
Practice breathing.
I think we are onto something here.
We can open a chain of breathing gyms!
